the HATIS coupler (ear hook) between your hearing aid and
head with the hook over the top of the ear to hold it in place.

Switch
your hearing aid to the T-coil mode.

There
is a 2.5mm headset jack on the opposite end of the HATIS coupler.*
Plug this connector into the 2.5mm headset jack on your telephone.
When using other audio devices, first plug in the required
3.5mm adaptor.
