addition to their product line. HATIS® is an acronym for
Hearing Aid Telephone Interconnect Systems.
HATIS manufactures assistive listening devices for the hard-of-hearing.
The DIRECTOR Series headset is a welcome addition to HATIS series of headsets
for those with hearing loss. HATIS is "The Missing Link” to connect
with communication technology.
For busy professionals, HATIS
designed the feather light headset with a powerful boom microphone. The headset
weighing only 1.5 ounces can be worn comfortably throughout your busy day. Creating
a hands-free work environment, the DIRECTOR eliminates buzzing, distortion and
feedback experienced when increasing phone amplification. Like all HATIS
headsets, the DIRECTOR requires no batteries, so there is no worry of a weak or
low battery while talking on the telephone or need to recharge batteries all the
time. Wherever there is a telephone or cellular phone, the DIRECTOR is ready to
provide communication clarity and hands-free capabilities.
Hearing aids
equipped with telecoils (T-coils) are required for use with all HATIS products.
Most headsets are designed with coiled cords for safety and convenience when navigating
around desks and other obstacles. The DIRECTOR series can be used with a Plantronics
CA-10 or M12 Amplifier.
For exceptional audio communication HATIS
systems utilize gold leads to produce a crisp and cleaner transmission of sound
between your audio device and the hearing aid. The DIRECTOR series is manufactured
in the U.S.A. and has a patented induction coupler, which provides the strongest
electromagnetic transmission to a t-coil equipped hearing aid. The DIRECTOR series
headsets are available in single units for one hearing aid or dual units for individuals
wearing two hearing aids. The DIRECTOR has a standard 2.5 mm connector that functions
with both cellular and cordless telephones.
