wireless products division announced that it will offer Hearing
Aid Telephone Interconnect Systems' (HATIS) BTE Freedom and Lite
headsets that enable hearing aid wearers to take advantage of Assistive
Communications Technology for home and work environments.

HATIS Lite headset is designed specifically for the hearing aid
user on-the-go. The Lite has a powerful in-line microphone that
eliminates buzzing, distortion, and feedback. The headset is compatible
with virtually all cellular, cordless, and landline telephones.
The HATIS Freedom makes phone calls hands free, is compatible with
virtually all cellular telephones, and has a wafer-thin earpiece
that fits comfortably and discreetly behind the ear. Like the Lite,
the Freedom headset has a powerful in-line microphone that enhances
sound quality and eliminates buzzing, distortion and feedback. Both
styles of headset require no batteries or fitting. MSRP for the
Freedom is $119.99 for a single earpiece. MSRP for the Lite single
earpiece model is $54.99.
