R & D team listened to the frustration that In-The-Ear (ITE) hearing instrument
users expressed in recent focus group sessions. HATIS found that ITE users (with
T-coils) complained about limited audibility and low quality in the products currently
on the market. Users were also dissatisfied with the weight of boom mikes when
used for long hours at work. After
several prototypes, HATIS tested a new product at a local audiologist lab. The
result is a feather lite, battery-free, boom microphone communications tool, coined,
"The Producer." The
Producer is a revolutionary new product from HATIS that complements the company's
Director. More importantly, with the addition of the Producer, HATIS can now satisfy
the needs of all T coil-equipped ITE and Behind the Ear (BTE) hearing instrument
